"Die Regatta um die Silbernen Riemen 2021" wird stattfinden am Sonnabend, den 23. Oktober 2021. Start an der Insel der Jugend ist 13:10 Uhr!

Sieger der „Silbernen Riemen von Berlin“ ist das schnellste Boot auf der Langstrecke über 4 Meilen (6,3 km) von der Insel der Jugend bis zum Britzer Hafen.

Unsere Regatta ist nur für Vereinsmannschaften ausgeschrieben.

Für Frauen gibt es den Doppelvierer mit Steuermann, für Männer und Frauen den Achter, beide Bootsklassen jeweils mit getrennten Wertungen für die Junioren, Senioren und Masters/Veteranen (letztere mit Alterszeitgutschrift). Für die Inklusion-Ruderer und Regatta-Anfänger („Club-Klasse“) gibt es die Mixed-4x+ C-Gig über die halbe Strecke.

Aufgrund der Corona-Auflagen und möglichen Einschränkungen im Zeitplan ist noch offen, ob wir am Nachmittag einen Preissprint vor dem Bootshaus ausfahren werden. Wir werden Euch darüber rechtzeitig informieren.

Das Meldegeld beträgt 135 Euro für Achter und 75 Euro für Vierer und ist am Tag der Regatta zu zahlen.

Leihboote können für ausländische Teams nach Möglichkeit gegen eine Gebühr zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Leider müssen wir in diesem Jahr auf so gut wie alle Feierlichkeiten und Events um die Regatta herum verzichten. Es wird keinen Empfang am Vorabend und auch keine Party nach der Regatta geben. Leider können wir auch keine Schlafplätze und kein Frühstück anbieten. Wir hoffen Ihr seht uns das nach, aber die Auflagen des Infektionsschutzes und die damit verbundenen (auch finanziellen) Aufwände für uns lassen uns keine andere Wahl. Wir werden aber versuchen, ein gastronomisches Angebot nach Beendigung der Regatta zum Verkauf anzubieten.

Im Rahmen des 18. Neuköllner Ruderfestival findet außerdem statt:

● Große Sternfahrt, eine Wanderfahrt durch ganz Berlin zur RG Wiking.

Für die Regatta gilt ein Hygienekonzept. Eine Teilnahme an der Regatta (Aktive, Betreuer*innen) und das Betreten des Vereinsgeländes
ist nur unter 3G-Regel möglich:
- Vollständiger Impfschutz (inkl. 14-tägiger Wartezeit)
oder
- vollständig genesen (inkl. amtlichem Nachweis)
oder
- tagesaktueller Schnelltest eines Testzentrums (nicht älter als 24 Stunden).
Die 3G-Regel wird einmalig geprüft und jedegeprüfte Person erhält ein Armbändchen, das Voraussetzung für das Betreten des Vereinsgeländes der RG Wiking ist.

 The regatta of the silver oars of Berlin 2021 will take place on 23rd of october 2021! Start at the "Insel der Jugend" will be at 13:10 hours.

The winner of the "Silver Oars of Berlin" is the fastest boat on the long distance over 4 miles (6.3 km) from the "Insel der Jugend (Isle of Youth)" to the Port of Britz at the rowing club Wiking.

Our regatta is only open to club teams.

For women there is the double four with coxswain, for men and women the eight, both boat classes each with separate classifications for the juniors, seniors and masters/veterans (the latter with age time credit). For the inclusion rowers and regatta beginners ("club class") there is the Mixed 4x+ C-Gig over half the distance.

Due to Covid19 requirements and possible restrictions in the schedule, it is still open whether we will have a prize sprint in front of the boathouse in the afternoon. We will inform you about this in due time.

The entry fee is 135 euros for eights and 75 euros for fours. The fee must be paid on raceday to get the bib.

If possible, rental boats can be made available for foreign teams for a fee.

Unfortunately, we have to do without almost all festivities and events around the regatta this year. There will be no reception event the night before and no party after the regatta. We will also not be able to offer sleeping accommodations or breakfast. We hope you will forgive us for this, but the requirements of infection control and the associated expenses for us give us no other choice. However, we will try to offer food and drinks for sale after the end of the regatta.

The 18th Neukölln Rowing Festival will also include:

• touring rowing trip through the whole city of Berlin from Berlin clubs to the RG Wiking.

We have a hygiene concept for the regatta. We will apply the german "3-G-rule", i.e. every person taking part in the regatta must either have been double vaccinated for more than 14 days or have recovered from Covid19 for less than 6 months and be able to prove this or show a negative Covid19 test that is not dated back more than 24 hours at the end of the regatta on 23.10.2021 at 4pm. The 3-G-rule is checked once and each checked person receives a wristband, which is a prerequisite for entering the RG Wiking association's premises.
